Bocci uses glass blowing and glass, ceramics and metal sand-casting to produce their unique, hand-crafted lights.

The 14 series chandelier, designed in 2005, is formed from articulated cast glass hemispheres with a frosted cylindrical void that houses a low voltage or LED lamp. Individual pendants are visually quite subtle but gain tremendous strength when multiplied and clustered in large groups.

Chandeliers come in clusters of 5, 7, 14, 26 and 36 pendants. The light interacts with the imperfections, rifts, bruises and bubbles of the cast glass to make a rich halo of light. Because cast glass is an organic process - hand-crafted and imperfect by nature - each piece produced is unique.
